Prizes and Eligibility

Eligibility

To be eligible for prizes, each member of your team (of 1 to 3 people) must:

1. Be a current student at either the University of Sydney, University of New South Wales, University of Melbourne, University of Adelaide or Monash University,
2. Be located in one of the above university's designated rooms during the contest (see the landing page),
3. Not have been involved in preparing contest problems.

Prize List

Beginner Division

• 1st Place: $100
• 2nd Place: $80
• 3rd Place: $60
• Ada Lovelace Prize: $100 (best team consisting only of female, non-binary or non-conforming members)

Additionally, there will be 3 raffle prizes, each worth $50. Your chances are proportional to the number of problems solved.

Advanced Division

• 1st Place: $200
• 2nd Place: $180
• 3rd Place: $160
• Grace Hopper Prize: $100 (best team consisting only of female, non-binary or non-conforming members)
